1st International educational forum of the fishery complex «Fishery Skills» – a large-scale online business platform for the formation of an international expert community of the fishery complex professions. The Forum includes a number of events at which the prospects for the development of international interaction between education, business and government in issues of training industry personnel will be discussed.
Representatives of the executive authorities, international organizations, educational organizations, WorldSkills and business communities of China, Japan, South Korea, Europe, Morocco, Norway, Iceland, Finland, Israel and Denmark will take part in an international dialogue that will give a new impetus to industry education, contributing to elimination of the gap between the personnel needs of business and educational opportunities, development of networking with the involvement of educational organizations, as well as the transfer of in-demand professional fishery competencies to the international educational space.
The main topic is:
Development of international interaction between education and business in personnel training for the fishery complex.
Among the outcomes of the Forum there will be:
- Creation of an international expert community from representatives of business and educational organizations;
- Opportunity to participate in international competitions according to WorldSkills standards by creating similar competencies in a number of countries;
- Raising the brand status of industry education as in the international arena and within the participating countries;
- International interaction of the sectoral educational complex in scientific and practice-oriented programs and internships.
