Federal Agency for Fishery, KSTU Moderator: Link:
Description:
According to FAO / WHO experts, the level of well-being of the state and its population is largely determined by the level of fish products consumption. The variety of fish products consumed is determined by the technical and processing technologies level. Is the profession of a processor of aquatic biological resources relevant in the digital age? Should a processor have a global profile or a national-specific one? An equally important problem is activation of business in the formation of the future profile of the profession and consortia with universities. The problem of differentiating programs and technologies for training processors for work at sea and at onshore enterprises is becoming more and more urgent. Topics: – Who is a fish processor? – What are the requirements for fish processors by employers? – How to build a competitive track so that it is interesting for young people? – What are the mechanisms of interaction between business and vocational education?        – What are the general skills of aquatic biological resource processors in different countries?   Speakers:

To what extent are university fisheries programs relevant to real business strategies, and what is the place of digital technologies in this issue? Federal Agency for Fishery, KSTU Moderator: Link:
Description:
Aquaculture is a rapidly developing industry in many countries of the world, significantly outstripping the world’s fisheries in terms of annual growth. According to FAO forecasts, for the period up to 2030, aquaculture production will exceed the volume of fishing in all water bodies of the planet. In modern aquaculture, an increasing number of cultivation objects (fish, crustaceans, molluscs) are used, and there is also a transition to the use of modern technologies for keeping, feeding, sorting, transporting fish, using automated systems for monitoring water quality, technological processes, product quality, machine vision . Biotechnology and aquaculture equipment are similar in many ways for most economically developed countries. What should be the competence of a fish farmer? The Global Dialogue will help to address the issue of comparability of national qualifications frameworks in the light of new competency requirements. An important problem is the activity of business in the formation of the future profile of the profession, updating of educational programs and the use of modern effective practice-oriented educational technologies for training fish farmers. Topics: – How has the fish farming equipment of modern enterprises changed in recent years? – What are the employers’ requirements for fish farmers? – What are the general skills of fish farmers in different countries? – How to improve the efficiency of interaction mechanisms between business and professional education in the field of aquaculture?   Speakers:
